laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop

Buying a new Laptop? Confused about which one to buy? Don't worry here are the top 5 tips that you should keep in mind...

Buying a new laptop is always a confusing thing.
laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop

Which laptop should I buy?
What are the top features should I consider?
Which best laptop should I get in my budget?
What are the top specifications should I consider according to my need and budget?

These type of questions are common. And I'm sure that you people also thinking about these type of questions. so don't get confused because in an article I brought top 5 tips to consider while buying a brand new laptop.

It says that "Another name of change is technology"

Technology is one of the fastest changing things in the whole world. So the topics or tips considering laptop buying guide may not be able for considering after a long time, therefore, I made a top 5 consideration which will be considered as tips for a long time such as your budget, processor, design, gaming, performance and many more.

so without wasting any time, let's get started...

Which factor should be your first priority is always being a big question, but everything comes under money. so my first priority will always be budget.

so let's starts with budgets...

1. Budget

While buying a laptop you should always keep in mind that what your budget is because there is no sense in talking about intel core I7 processor when your budget is around Rs.30000. So you need to look according to your budget that what are the best processor I can get under Rs.30000. Similarly according to my budget what are the top specifications that my laptop should have.
laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop
A laptop with a budget sign

This comes to a confusion that in what range of my budget I get the best processor so to solve this problem I classified the range of your budget in four range as follows:

  1. Below Rs.20000
  2. Rs.20000<your budget<Rs.40000
  3. Rs.40000<your budget<Rs.80000
  4. above>Rs.80000
Now while discussing about remaining four points such as a processor, RAM, your need and your use we will compare each topic into four points according to your budget range.

But before getting started let me clarify one thing when you buy a laptop for below Rs.20000 this makes no sense because while buying a brand new laptop your budget should be at least more than Rs.20000. that's why in talking about remaining four points we will skip this consideration.

But if you are a student and your budget is below 20000 thousand then one thing you should keep in mind that you should not go through intel processor, you go through AMD processor. Because If you buy Intel processor then hardly you get core I3 of 3rd or 5th generation. these are not bad but these are old one, so, therefore, you should go through AMD processor, AMD processor provides the best value for money in this range.

2. processor

If you finally know what your budget is then the main topic to consider is a processor. A processor is the main processing unit of your pc or laptop. Many of us think that your first priority should be the Operating system or anything else but in my opinion, your first priority should be a processor.

We can upgrade an operating system any time we want but it is difficult to change processor what you have in your pc.
laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop
image of a processor

You already might be known about different processor brand in the market but the best value provider is Intel. you may go through different processor according to your budget

If your budget is in between Rs.20000-Rs.40000 then you may get a core I3 processor try to get 5th or 7th generation processor or if you are getting a core I5 processor in this price range then go for it. It doesn't matter which laptop brand you are going through, basically, all are same.

If your budget is in range of Rs.40000-Rs.80000 then you may get core I5 or core I7 processor. In some brands, you can get core I7 processor but look for a 5th or 7th generation.

And if your budget is more than Rs.80000 then there is no point of discussion, you must go through core I7 7th generation processor.

3.RAM

RAM is another measure components which direct or indirect affect the speed of your laptop.RAM stands for random access memory. there is a myth that more RAM means more speed, but this is not true.

for example,
If you purchase a laptop of 8GB RAM but the RAM type is DDR2 or DDR3. And your friend buy a laptop of 4GB RAM but the RAM type is DDR5 then your friend's laptop may be fast as compared to yours.
laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop
technician-installing-ram-stick-random-access-memory-to-socket-on-motherboard_9635-366

That doesn't mean that always go through less RAM laptop. Now if you are a graphic designer or video editor then you required more RAM.

coming to budget...

If your budget is in a secondary or third category you might get DDR3 RAM

4.Your Need

Your need means what type of laptop do you need. Whether you need a gaming laptop or laptop for a daily need such as watching a movie, billing, or for data storage, music or internet browsing, watching a youtube video and many such things.

In this case, keep your budget aside and go to the laptop according to your need. for example, if you are a normal user means just for specific purpose let's say for billing then you must go for an AMD processor laptop, having less RAM is also ok in this case.
laptop buying guide 2018| Top 5 tips to remember while buying a new laptop

Or consider in case you are a student and you required a basic laptop who can fulfill your basic need then go for a middle range laptop with core I3 or core I5 processor.

Or consider in case you are a student but you required some graphics card then don't go for intel graphic card, save your money and go through AMD graphic card and use a powerful processor.

5.Your Use

Your use means how do you use your laptop. If you are a rough user then go through I laptop with good hardware.

If you want to travel your laptop then make sure that it should be lightweight and slim.

If you are a video editor, graphic designer, or you run high-end graphics software then make sure you have a very much sufficient RAM.

And if you are a programmer or gamer then make sure you have a good graphics card.

Conclusion

Now I think it is clear for you to decide your new laptop.

And everything depends upon your budget, your use, your needs, etc.

thanks for reading this article.

see you in next article.
